We've added a new tool to our Events feature, the Attendee Check-In App.
Using this new tool you can easily manage attendee check-in for your booth, launch party, showcase, or any other event being managed on PressEngine. You won't need to print out the daily schedules, or provide your front-desk team with lists of people and their appointments - this is now all handled automatically by the check-in app. Attendees can now check-in to their appointment quickly, easily and securely.
Our booth check-in app helps reduce the security overhead on running an event - there's no need to print people's personal information for the front-desk staff to check they have an appointment. It's all handled for you.
Using the app also means you offer up-to-the-minute appointments as the check-in app uses a live appointment feed to check for upcoming appointments for your attendees. There's no need to amend your printed schedules, or spreadsheets every time an attendee cancels, moves their appointment, or someone new books an empty slot.
"This extension of our Events feature came to mind during gamescom 2024, when I saw first hand how front-desk teams were handling appointments and walk-ups." said Phil Collins, CTO, PressEngine. "This new tool complements our Events feature by wrapping up the experience from start to finish. It means you can book up-to-the-minute appointments, enabling our clients to be more efficient and productive with their event time. This feature continues our ongoing commitment to delivering a wide-reaching toolset for indie developers, publishers, agencies and media that no other platform can match."
